Hosted by SVIVAH, this event will explore Megillat Eicha (the Book of Lamentations) and the rituals of Tisha B’Av, reflecting on the recent tragedies of 10/7. Educators will guide participants through the text and discuss the experiences of survivors of harm, the need for lament, and the purpose of mourning. This gathering, open to Jewish women* ages 12 and above and learners of all backgrounds, aims to provide a communal space for individual healing.
