Transformative Texts of the High Holy Days

The London School of Jewish Studies will host a special Elul course examining the texts read on the High Holy Days, which are known for being enigmatic, shocking, and transformative. The course will explore the human-God relationship, Teshuva through prayer, and the meaning of life, using classic and contemporary Torah commentaries, as well as modern philosophical and psychological insights. Participants will gain a newfound appreciation for these classic narratives.
