Uncovering Women’s Stories in the Bible

Hosted By: Haberman Institute

Women’s stories and viewpoints in the Bible are often neglected in favor of the narratives of men. Nevertheless, there are some biblical women whose story is at least partially told. Additionally, Jewish tradition expanded upon the biblical text with midrashim and stories to broaden upon these narratives. Later, feminist reading added a new angle to these stories. From these instances, we can uncover truly amazing and interesting women.
