Herzl called Akko, “The jewel of the Mediterranean,” and there is indeed no better way to describe it.
This tour will take you to the ancient port providing marine views, the Crusaders’ period citadel which made Akko a UNESCO Heritage Site, the lively market with an ancient synagogue hidden in it, the great walls that survived Napoleon siege, the only modern synagogue in Israel that has mosaics covering it top to bottom, and much more.
