‘Vishniac’ — A Virtual Film Screening and Discussion on the Photo Legend

Hosted By: Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA)

Roman Vishniac is known for his iconic images of Jewish life in Eastern Europe from 1935 through 1938, which, post-Holocaust, provide some of the last visual records of an entire world. His story has come to life as a feature documentary produced by Nancy Spielberg and directed by Laura Bialis. The Jewish Telegraphic Agency will host a discussion with Bialis and Spielberg about the film and Vishniac’s legacy—and your ticket gets you exclusive streaming access to the film.
