What American Jews and Muslims Can Learn from One Another

Hosted By: Moment Magazine

Moment Magazine and MALA (Muslim American Leadership Alliance) will launch a joint program series, “Beni Adam/Bnei Adam: Restoring Humanity,” with a conversation featuring Professors Samuel Heilman and Mucahit Bilici, moderated by Sarah Breger and Zainab Khan. The discussion will explore the similarities between American Jewish and Muslim experiences, as highlighted in Heilman and Bilici’s new book Following Similar Paths: What American Jews and Muslims Can Learn from One Another. The program aims to foster empathy, understanding, and solidarity in response to rising antisemitism and anti-Muslim bigotry.
