Bagel Chips and Lox

Ingredients

  • ¼ lb smoked salmon pieces
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped red onion
  • 12 Tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • few drops of olive oil
  • few drops of lemon juice
  • cream cheese, dairy sour cream, crème fraiche or mascarpone cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chop the smoked salmon into tiny pieces and place in a bowl.
  2. Add the red onion and dill and mix thoroughly.
  3. Sprinkle in a few drops of olive oil and lemon juice and mix.
  4. If you’re making dairy-free appetizers, top bagel chips with salmon mixture and serve.
  5. If using dairy, spread the bagel chips with cream cheese, sour cream, crème fraiche or mascarpone cheese. Top with some of the salmon mixture.
