Egg Cream Float

Make any Sunday better with this whimsical, nostalgic Jewish deli-inspired treat.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Fox’s U-Bet chocolate syrup
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1 cup seltzer
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • whipped cream (optional)
  • sprinkles (optional)
  • 1 shot Baileys or Kahlua (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour chocolate syrup into tall glass. Add milk on top. Add alcohol of choice, if using.
  2. Then add seltzer. Make sure seltzer does not reach top of glass or it will spill over. Using a spoon, stir chocolate syrup, milk and seltzer vigorously. It will be foamy on top.
  3. Add scoop of ice cream, whipped cream and sprinkles if desired. Enjoy with straw.
