Hungarian Poppy Seed and Walnut Noodles Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb tagliatelle or egg noodles
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 oz poppy seeds
- 1.5 oz ground walnuts
- salt to taste
- zest of one lemon
Instructions
- Cook the tagliatelle according to directions. Drain and set aside.
- While the tagliatelle are cooking, melt the butter in a sauce pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook 2-3 minutes until golden. Add poppy seeds and cook for another minute to release its fragrance. Add the walnuts and salt to pan, cook for another minute, and pour over the cooked pasta. Mix well.
- Add the lemon zest on top of the pasta. Serve immediately.
