Finding the time to make homemade sufganiyot or sfenj for Hanukkah is amazing. But sometimes you just can’t muster the energy for a big baking project. Or maybe you don’t even like donuts (are you OK?). Either way, I have the easiest Hanukkah dessert to try and it’s only TWO INGREDIENTS: store-bought cookie dough and Hanukkah gelt coins, that’s it.
Watch my short video below to see how easy it is.

Great idea 👍🏻
Chanukah and Xmas are on the same day this year. Part of our family is not Jewish. I’m going to make the Chanukah cookies, and make some with a chocolae Xmas decoration. Everyone can enjoy their holiday!
Here in Santa Fe New, Mexico we like to celebrate our Sephardic traditions as well as Ashkenazi ones. So my friend an I have decided to make Fry Bread instead of Sufganiyot this year. My daughter’s paternal family have been here in the Southwest since 1577.
